How it works

ConvertCabin loads a local copy of FFmpeg in this browser tab and applies a crop filter to the area you select. Your video is never uploaded.

It stays free, unlimited and private, and works offline once loaded.

About Crop Video

Cropping a video removes parts of the frame — for example to cut out a watermark, change to a square or vertical shape for social, or focus on a subject. The crop is applied to every frame and re-encoded to MP4 (H.264).

Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a video?
Drop a video, drag a box over the area to keep, then press Crop. A local copy of FFmpeg crops it in your browser and you download the MP4.
Does it crop the picture or trim the length?
This crops the picture (the frame area). To shorten a clip, use the Trim Video tool instead.
Is my video uploaded?
No. It is cropped on your device by a local copy of FFmpeg; nothing is sent to a server.
